On Tuesday, December 2, join us for the release of Brokering Success, a Mowat Centre report on improving skilled immigrant employment outcomes through strengthened government-employer engagement.
This paper identifies four key levers available to governments to improve engagement and outcomes. It makes practical recommendations to governments and employers with a focus on:
• adapting to local needs;
• supporting smaller enterprises;
• building a common language around evidence, skills, and objectives; and
• promoting long-term stability of programs, services, and building sustained initiatives.
