Grace Skogstad is Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto and currently chair of the Department of Political Science at the Scarborough campus of the University of Toronto. Her areas of specialty include Canadian politics, Canadian federalism and Canadian agriculture and food policy.

Her most recent book is Internationalization and Canadian Agriculture: Policy and Governing Paradigms (University of Toronto Press, 2008). She is the editor of Policy Paradigms, Transnationalism and Domestic Politics (University of Toronto Press, 2011) and the co-editor of The Global Promise of Federalism (University of Toronto Press 2013) and Canadian Federalism: Performance, Effectiveness and Legitimacy (3rd edition, Oxford University Press, 2012).

She was a Senior Fernand Braudel Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence, Italy, in 2007 – 2008 and served as the President of the Canadian Political Science Association in 2002-03. Professor Skogstad received her PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia and a BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Alberta.
