Luc Turgeon is an Assistant Professor at the School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto. His recent work focuses mostly on federalism, nationalism, the bureaucratic representation of minorities, and public opinion toward immigration and ethnic pluralism. He has also worked on social policy and has worked with the Mowat Centre on its Employment Insurance Task Force.

His most recent work has been published in the Canadian Journal of Political Science, Canadian Public Administration, Regional and Federal Studies, and Nations and Nationalism. He is the editor of two books: Segmented Cities: How Urban Contexts Shape Ethnic and Nationalist Politics (edited with Kristin Good and Phil Triadafilopoulos, UBC Press, 2014), and Comparing Canada: Methods and Perspectives on Canadian Politics (edited with Martin Papillon, Jennifer Wallner and Stephen White) will be published by UBC Press later in 2014.
