October 18, 2018
Cannabis is set to be legally available across Canada on October 17th. Legalization will address many of the shortcomings of the current policy framework, but will in turn create a series of new challenges.
Will the policies that Canada’s governments have proposed adequately balance these tradeoffs? How will we know what is working and what isn’t? What will we need to keep an eye on?
Join us on October 18th for a lively panel discussion and Q&A on these topics.
PANELISTS:
The Honourable Tony Dean
Senate of Canada
Jean-François Crépault
Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
Rolanda Elijah
Chippewas of the Thames First Nation
Akwasi Owusu-Bempah
University of Toronto
We are happy to announce that we will be hosting our event at a NEW LOCATION! Please join us in “The Nest” of the Wickson Social located at 5 St Joseph St. in Toronto.
