Sonya Gulati is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Operations practice, where she focuses on the Public Sector. She specializes in human services transformation, evidence-based analytics, program, regulatory and public policy design, corporate strategy and strategic planning. She has held successively senior roles in economics and strategy with TD – in Canada and the U.S. – and in the public sector. She is an experienced facilitator and is thoughtful when it comes to effectively engaging stakeholders and clients. Over the course of her career, she has authored or co-authored nearly 100 publicly-available research and public policy reports.
Sonya has worked in the public sector at both the federal and provincial levels, the financial services sector and a payment systems regulator. She is a seasoned engagement and project manager with experience leading large-scale transformation efforts in regulated, confidential and/or unionized environments.
Sonya holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, a Masters of Arts degree in Economics from McMaster University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
