Will Falk

Will Falk is a retired partner with PwC. He has spent 25 years as a strategist and advisor in New York and Toronto advising top academic centres, governments, and innovative companies in healthcare.

Mr. Falk currently has several advisory and academic roles. He has been an Executive Fellow at the Mowat Centre since 20111 and is also an Adjunct Professor at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto where he teaches a course on innovation in healthcare. His interests include the impacts of technological change on health systems and their governance and payment mechanisms. He works with several innovative enterprises on digital health and software development including as an Executive-in-Residence at Think Research, as a Board Advisor at Alayacare, as an Advisor with Telus Health, an Innovation Fellow at Women’s College Hospital Institute for Health System Solutions and Virtual Care and a Senior Fellow at the CD Howe Institute.

Will has had several formal and informal advisory roles within government including first ministers’ meetings, departmental reviews, expert panels and bargaining teams. He is a Board Director with AMS Healthcare Foundation and West Neighbourhood House. His past board experience has included the Children’s Aid Foundation, Home Capital, the William Osler Health System and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences. He received his B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (Trinity College) and an M.P.P.M. from Yale University’s School of Management.
